We Are Selling The Domain Name For 10 Times Our Cost

Another "We are selling the domain name" email offering the .com version of a domain that we own. I like these offers since THEY DON"T OWN THE DOMAIN they are offering, so I could just register it for less than $10 if I wanted to. But in this case, it's not a great domain and I am not interested.

If you get an offer like this via email, you should ALWAYS check the WHOIS and see if it's really registered or not. In most cases it isn't and you can just register it yourself.

Click To Register Domain...In THEIR Name!

Domain Supply System
I just got a message from Dan Johnson of Domain Supply System who is trying to sell domains he doesn't own. Or at least he may not own them when he sends you a message like the one he sent us below. About half of these offers that you get *unsolicited* are for domains that are being "tasted" or only registered for a short time in hopes of finding a sucker, I mean buyer that will pay between $50 and $2,000 or more for a good domain. At least they are telling the truth if they say the own the domain. Some don't own the domain at all but say they do, and others, like this one, don't say they OWN the domain, but are truthful about their intent to help you GET the domain. But THIS offer is a little different from others we have seen.

I first checked the domain and sure enough the domain was not registered. Then I looked at their site and saw their average price for domains was about $300, which is a nice profit for a $10 registration. Then I used the link in their email to see how much they were going to charge me for the domain name they are offering. When I noticed that the page took a while to load, I started to wonder why, and sure enough, the domain was now not available any longer, and was registered:

Registration Service Provided By: Symphisis Company

   dns2.name-services.com
Creation date: 29 Dec 2008 17:40:11
Expiration date: 29 Dec 2009 17:40:11

So, if I had wanted to register this domain, I would have to now wait the 4-5 days they are likely to wait before deleting the domain and getting a refund. They have to pay something like $0.20 as a fee and I'm sorry that I caused them to be charged that...

To their credit, the price they are asking was $99, with a special Christmas price of only $75. So as far as these kinds of services go they are not all that bad. But I have no idea about how they actually conduct their business, so if they have a domain and you really don't mind overpaying for it, check around to see if you can find other information about Domain Supply System and how they treat their customers.

================================================
The domain hdcmb.com <
http://www.domainsupplysystem.com/domaininfo.php?e=8857563&r=8847464> has recently become available for us so we are offering it to you, because you are the owner of its .org version.

Domain Supply System is intended to assist our clients with their promotion on the Internet. We use many methods to increase the effectiveness of a client's presence on the Web. Securing .com domains for anyone using another extension for their site is one of them.

There are several reasons why owning a .com is of great importance for any domain holder:

- It's in the essense of Internet: .com is most popular and widely used, and the typical user usually supposes that he/she will find you at hdcmb.com <
http://www.domainsupplysystem.com/domaininfo.php?e=8857563&r=8847464> . A lot of companies and organizations who use other extensions as primary (.net for Web services or private sites, .org for non-profit organizations etc.) are securing .coms not to lose the visitors who are seeking them there. With .com, you will be free to use both your .org and .com so you will only gain visitors.

- By owning the .com, you will be sure to stay #1 in your own name space.

If you are interested in this domain, please act quickly, as we soon intend to bring it to the auction where the acquisition cost will be higher than now.

Please use the link below to discover the current cost of the domain, read more about the advantages of owning a .com and get information on the details of the purchase and domain transfer procedure:

Doctors Raised Questions About FDA Epilepsy Drug Warning

Doctors Raise Questions-Concerns About FDA Suicide Warning

Epilepsy experts urge patients and caregivers to continue drug therapy

SEATTLE, December 8, 2008-Medical specialists at the nation's largest professional meeting on epilepsy discussed multiple questions and concerns they have about data presented by the FDA in support of its recent suicide alert on anticonvulsant drugs (AEDs) and the potential effect of the federal agency's analyses on clinical practice and the way AED drug trials are to be conducted in the future.

It is well known that non-adherence to antiepileptic drug therapy can lead to a dramatic increase in accidents and deaths. For these reasons, epileptic experts believe it is imperative that patients continue their antiepileptic therapy to prevent the occurrence of serious accidents and death.

During the American Epilepsy Society's annual meeting, epidemiologists, epileptologists and psychiatrists offered a critical review of the FDA's methodology and analyses, describe the suicide alert's potential impact on patient compliance and seizure management, and its likely effect on the selection of patients for AED regulatory studies. Among the doctors' concerns is that news reports of the FDA's analyses have confused patients and, perhaps, some physicians on the risks associated with epilepsy drugs. They cite data showing that the risk of suicide possibly associated with AEDs is extremely small compared to the potential danger of leaving patients untreated. Also of concern is that epilepsy patients prone to suicidal ideation or behavior will be excluded from clinical trials of new AEDs.

The panel is seriously concerned about methodological flaws in the FDA's data collection and analysis, including biased measurement of suicidality and exclusion of a large proportion of the data. The FDA performed similarly flawed analysis of the SSRIs. After the black box warning appeared, there was a decrease in use of the SSRIs with a corresponding increase in suicide, contrary to what the FDA's conclusions would predict.

The discussion by leading experts was headed by Andres M. Kanner, M.D., professor of neurological sciences at Rush Medical Center and associate director of the Rush Epilepsy Center. The other panelist for the session, titled Suicidality and Epilepsy: A Complex Problem, are Dr. Hesdorffer (Columbia University), Anne T. Berg, Ph.D. (Northern Illinois University), John J. Barry, M.D. (Stanford University), Rochelle Caplan, M.D. (UCLA), and Jacqueline A. French, M.D. (New York University).

EDITOR'S NOTE: In addition to the panel presentation, the American Epilepsy Society submitted a letter to the FDA expressing its concern for potential misinterpretation by patients, families and physicians of package insert warnings.

About The American Epilepsy Society
The American Epilepsy Society (AES), based in West Hartford, CT, is among the oldest neurological professional organizations in the nation, with roots dating to 1898. The AES annual meeting is the world's preeminent professional meeting on epilepsy and attracts some 4,000 participants from around the globe. So what do these domains have, that yours and mine don't? I think it's just that they have the attention of buyers in the marketplace. I think that companies or people that have a specific need for a domain are going to the big seller sites or auctions and they think they have to pay these kinds of prices for domains. If we just had a way to get in front of buyers, we could sell many more domains and buyers could get them a much lower prices. I have a LOT of domains that I would be willing to sell in the $200-$500 range that are of the quality that I see here in the lower half of the list.

Law Firm Growth Due To High Levels Of Client Loyalty

Client Experience Strategy Drives Law Firm Growth

Customer Research Center explores impact of client experience on loyalty and referral rates with Bagia & Associaties, a leading Philadelphia immigration law firm.

Philadelphia, PA, December 05, 2008 -- Maintaining growth momentum during this global economic downturn requires companies to maintain extraordinarily high levels of client loyalty. A leading factor in client retention, add-on business, and high quality referrals is the client experience provided by law firms during their initial contact with potential clients. The research partnership between the CRC and Bagia & Associates will examine these impacts over the next three months to identify best practices for small firms focused on maintaining and enhancing revenue growth.

Bagia & Associates and the Customer Research Center (CRC) launched the study to determine the impact of the client experience on both retention and referral rates in immigration law practices. The goal of this research partnership is to identify the key drivers of extraordinary client experiences within both prospect and client populations to determine which enhancements to existing processes help companies build client loyalty.

Bagia & Associates, an immigration law firm based in Philadelphia, sees fundamental research as a way to maintain a competitive edge in a difficult economic environment. Jay Bagia, the founder of Bagia & Associates, sees a critical need for a deeper understanding of client expectations. "We have always provided extraordinary service to our clients based on our intuitive understanding of the difficult emotional circumstances and complex legal problems many immigrants experience. Now, we want to move that to the next level and develop an in-depth, quantitative understanding."

"The first step in any process design effort, or marketing needs analysis, is to determine the underlying client expectations through a rigorous, statistically valid analysis," observes Steven Grant, CRC Managing Partner. "Unless you know what clients expect, and design a standard process to drive success, all the other improvements can fall short of their full impact."

The Customer Research Center, with offices in New York, Philadelphia, Stamford and New Jersey focuses on sales process optimization studies for the financial services industry. The partnership with Bagia & Associates represents their first foray into the legal industry and is expected to provide a rich source of benchmark data for future analyses.

For additional information on client experience strategies and sales process optimization please contact: Yvonne Brooks, Director, Public Relations, Customer Research Center or visit the CRC website at www.CustomerResearchCenter.com. Contact Ms. Brooks by phone (917) 568-3688 or email: ydbrooks@customerresearchcenter.com.

Increased Insurance Research Caused By Economic Instability

US Insurance Online Hits 4.5 Million Customer Milestone

Sees Customers Increasing Insurance Research as a Result of Economic Instability.

Austin, TX, December 07, 2008 -- US Insurance Online, a premiere online portal that provides insurance customers with education and relevant introductions, today announced it had helped over 4.5 million customers get insurance quotes from multiple agents via the Internet. The company also noted that online searches for insurance products had accelerated in recent months. According to the company this provides evidence that recent economic uncertainties are driving customer cost-cutting efforts to include evaluating less expensive insurance policies.

"We help make the search for less expensive insurance coverage more effective by eliminating the time spent finding multiple agents, calling and comparing their offerings. US Insurance Online makes it easy to get in touch with multiple insurance agents who can sell you the products you need."

nielsentech -Intellectual Property Right (To CEO) Urgent

Chinese Domain Name and Trademark Fraud Continues Unpunished

We have been reporting on the domain name and trademark scam for several months now and have even contacted APNIC about it, yet it still continues. The scam involves some form of the email below that alerts a company that someone is trying to register a trademark and/or domain names with your company name or trademark. The intent is to cause uncertainty and fear so that you register them with the company that is contacting you first.

What you need to know is that this is a COMPLETE SCAM run by liars. They have not been contacted by anyone. And even if you were worried about such things (and there are ways to protect yourself and regain trademarked domains) you would not want to do so with a Chinese company that HAS TO LIE TO GET YOUR BUSINESS. In addition, the fees they charge ARE EXCESSIVE!!! It is just pure greed that is driving this scam like so many others.

Do NOT contact these people unless you want to yell at them for being such jerks. If everyone did that they MIGHT get the message. And tell others about this scam if you get a chance. If this message helps you, please post a comment or email us at webmaster1 at this domain and we'll post if for you.

Some Marketing Emails Seem To Work

"Emails We Love"-Marketing Emails That Work

Ilfracombe, United Kingdom, November 26, 2008 -- It's easy to poke fun of companies that send out mangled, mistyped and just plain horrific marketing emails. But you don't often see companies that get email marketing right singled out for praise. Which is why Catalogue/e-business magazine in its 24 November issue is highlighting "Emails we love".

"An effective marketing email, by definition, is one that encourages recipients to click through," says Sherry Chiger, Catalogue/e-business editorial director. "The emails we spotlight in our issue encouraged even our jaded staff to respond to them."

Gifts and gadgets marketer Firebox.com won the most raves, for an email chock-full of features, including animated product imagery and links to the customer-submitted Photo of the Week and Video of the Week. The latter, depicting Lego figurines working a mini Henry Desktop Vacuum, was so entertaining that the Catalogue/e-business staff forwarded it within and outside the office-"viral marketing in action," says Chiger.

Other noteworthy marketing emails include one from fashion etailer Asos promoting a lunchtime-only sale ("great for creating a sense of urgency," Chiger notes), a BeautyBay.com email graphically pointing out recent improvements to its website, and one from bedding specialist Feather & Black whose main photo focuses more on a beautiful, scantily clad woman than on the products for sale ("one way to interest men in its promotion").

"Marketers aiming to punch up their email response could do worse than to look to these companies' efforts for inspiration," Chiger concludes.

Avandia May be More Dangerous Than Previously Thought

LegalView Updates Avandia Information Portal with News That Avandia May be More Dangerous Than Similar Drugs

LegalView recently relaunched is Avandia information portal with updated news that the type 2 diabetes drug has more safety risks than drugs of a similar nature. A study from U.S. researchers was published evaluating the dangers of the diabetes drugs and found Avandia as riskier for patients than Actos.

Denver, CO, December 02, 2008 -- LegalView.com, the number one resource for everything and anything legal on the Web, recently announced an update to its Avandia information portal with news that the type 2 diabetes drug poses more safety risks to patients than similar drugs including Actos. According to a Reuters article published in November, the Avandia study as well as analysis has been conducted of the drugs and has found that of both Avandia and Actos, Avandia poses greater risks, especially among older-aged diabetic patients and that the risks include an increased chance of developing heart disease.

Individuals who consume Avandia and who are concerned about the Avandia side effects, which may potentially include early on-set osteoporosis as well as heart failure, according to the New England Journal of Medicine, may need to discuss discontinuing use of the drug with a medical professional. Additionally, contacting an experienced pharmaceutical and Avandia attorney who may be able to provide a free legal consultation as to the development of a potential Avandia class action lawsuit.

Avandia was first introduced from GlaxoSmithKline in May 1999 and was prescribed to nearly 3 million type 2 diabetes sufferers. In 2007 a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) health advisory alert was issued regarding the discovery of the alleged link that Avandia patients may be at a greater risk for developing heart disease and heart failure, while also being more susceptible to broken bones and fractures due to a potential osteoporosis risk. Patients consuming the drug should speak with their physician as well as consider the development of litigation for the potential of earning monetary compensation.

LegalView has also made available information portals on several other topics ranging from information on traumatic brain injuries to other controversial pharmaceutical drugs such as Byetta and Ketek.

According to the Brain Injury Association of America, approximately 1.4 million Americans suffer from a traumatic brain injury each year. The condition has also been deemed the signature injury of the war in Iraq by news organizations and medical professionals. Additionally, thousands of individuals are not treated for their TBI condition, which could cause a worsening of the TBI side effects among patients. It is imperative that an individual who may have suffered from a TBI accident contact a medical professional regarding their potential condition.

Byetta (exenatide) from Amilyn Pharmaceuticals and Eli Lilly was released in 2005, however, the type 2 diabetes drug was allegedly under investigation by the FDA for the potential link to pancreatic inflammation among Byetta patients. In August 2008, approximately six individuals consuming the drug had developed acute pancreatitis and of the six, two had died. Patients of Byetta who are concerned about the potential dangers allegedly associated with the drug are advised to contact a Byetta law firm for more information.

Ketek, which has been available since 2004 from Sanofi-Aventis, has been allegedly linked to the development of liver damage among patients who have consumed the antibiotic that treats upper respiratory infections such as bronchitis and community acquired pneumonia. The FDA is also currently investigating the drug, but those who have been affected by the Ketek side effects are encouraged to contact a medical professional as well as a pharmaceutical attorney.

List of Loan Forgiveness Programs

eLearners.com Offers Comprehensive List of Loan Forgiveness Programs

Loan Forgiveness Programs Rescue Student Debt Amid Credit Crisis.

Hoboken, NJ, December 04, 2008 -- As the recession causes cutbacks across the nation, many working adults are now ducking corporate downsizing by returning to school. A recent survey of visitors to eLearners.com, a web resource of EducationDynamics, found that 42 percent of online education-seekers plan to take out a loan to pay for this return to student status. Amid economic uncertainty, many of these new learners may wonder how they'll pay back their debt in the future. Loan forgiveness and repayment programs, offered by employers in specific need-based occupations, may be the answer. In its Debt-Free College Guide, located at
http://debtfree.elearners.com/, eLearners offers the most comprehensive guide to these types of programs on the Internet.

"It's hard for people to think about going back to school for a career change when it's a challenge to figure out how to pay for it," said Terrence Thomas, Executive Vice President of Marketing for eLearners.com, which connects prospective students with online learning providers. "Many people aren't even aware that loan forgiveness programs exist. With the right career move, many of these types of programs can cover the cost of an education."

Loan forgiveness and repayment programs are generally designed to encourage students to pursue educational goals that will lead to employment in a number of need-based occupations, such as working for volunteer organizations, practicing law with low income residents, working in federal or state government, teaching or practicing medicine. In exchange for service in these fields, part or all of student loan debt can be forgiven, be it from a traditional institution or from one of many online colleges. Visitors to eLearners.com can search for loan forgiveness and repayment programs by state, with tailored results customized to their search.

"With student loan debt for those completing their degree jumping 108% in the past decade, according to the National Center for Education Statistics, and students facing one of the most severe credit crunches in history, loan forgiveness programs may just be the perfect solution for those who want to do well by doing good," continued Thomas.

The Debt-Free College Guide is part of eLearners.com's Student Loans and Financial Aid Center. eLearners.com has also introduced such innovations as the eLearners Advisor, an assessment that through a series of targeted questions ranging from technology access and skills, to personal motivation and learning styles, helps prospective elearners determine if online learning is right for them.

Domainers Get New Domain Name Community

New Domain Name Community Focusing on Safer Trading Launches

New York, NY, November 26, 2008 -- Today, DNF24 has announced the launch of its new Domain Name Forum, focusing on a friendly, fair and safe domain name trader marketplace while providing advice and industry related news. The community can be found at
http://dnf24.com/

"Being Domainers ourselves, we know what domain name professionals are looking for - a safe and friendly place where business can be done. There are many similar communities out there, but we noticed there is enough space to launch a friendlier and also safer place to buy, sell and trade domain names. Besides offering a place where Domainers can trade their assets, we also focus on educating people who are new to domain names by providing useful content to prevent them from getting scammed", DNF's Founder said.

Looking at the site's rules and guidelines, it is clear that the makers have a mission: Supporting people who are interested in domain names and looking to do business online by providing a place where people with similar interests meet.

Currently the site features various discussion categories such as general domain name talk, categorized marketplace areas featuring domain sales, trades and also sections where people in need of domain names can post their requests.

Besides that, registered community members can also make use of the site's virtual online shop where topics can be featured, domain names which are listed on Sedo.com can be listed for additional exposure and much more.

Industry specific content such as articles like "Avoid Getting Scammed" and other educational information and research tools round up DNF24's service offerings. The site has also announced future services such as live auctions where domain name buyers and sellers can bid on each other's valuable domain names in real-time.

As a special launch promomotion, visitors who become an active site member will receive a Christmas present on December 25th 2008, worth at least twenty-five dollars. There is no cost attached to become a DNF24 member.
